The Kansas City Irish Center presents the 21st annual “Bloomsday” celebration in honor of James Joyce’s novel, Ulysses. Joyce’s Ulysses is the story of 24 hours in the life of Leopold Bloom who, like his Greek counterpart of old, confronts cyclops and sirens while navigating the streets, pubs and bordellos of 1904 Dublin in search of home.
