For anyone who would like to start on the basics of the Irish language. Wednesdays, 5:30 to 7:00pm, going for 10 weeks. No textbook needed. Dictionaries are optional and will be available to purchase ($25 – $45).

$75 / 6 week session. Current membership required.

This class is open to anyone who has completed Intro to Irish at the KCIC or the equivalent elsewhere. Using a textbook and CD course developed in Ireland, this class will further your skills in speaking, listening, writing and reading Irish. Text book is approximately $45.

A textbook driven course where you will continue with conversation, reading, exercises and activities to improve your level of Irish.

Renata lived in Ireland for 10 years and studied the language extensively, earning a B.A. in Celtic Studies from University of California, Berkeley, and an M. Phil. in Irish Studies from University College Dublin. She has spent time in the Donegal and Galway Gaeltachts, and organizes Irish Language Immersion Weekends at the Irish Center.
