Genealogy Field Trip

You do not need a permission slip from your parents. No bus. You will need to provide your transportation. Bring a sack lunch.

We are fortunate to have one of the top three Genealogy research facilities in the US with a collection of hundreds of thousand resources.

We will meet at the Midwest Genealogical Library 3440 South Lee’s Summit Road.

10:00AM for a short presentation by Barbara Scanlon followed by a guided tour of the Library by a member of the Library staff. After a lunch break time for personal research. Library staff will be available to assist you. The library closes at 8:00PM.

Note: There is a mother goose in the planter box in the parking lot with her family. Please give her the personal space she needs. Remember Daddy goose is near by standing guard. Don’t upset her or him.
