Now that we are all wearing masks into 2021, you know that elastic is wearing on the back of your ear. Many have tried to find a way to keep that from wearing away the skin and hurting. Do you have some scrap yarn and 1″ buttons, here are some crochet and knit patterns to make a band to hold the elastic off the back of your ear. Make sure you use 1″ buttons because the elastic will pull on the button and you don’t want it falling off. It will pull your mask tighter over your face as well. Make several to coordinate with your mask and be the talk of your friends.
