Two of the members are working on a cape that requires increases, decreases, and wrap and turns.  Since we went over the stitches I thought I would post some tutorials here for those who need a reference, or a little refresher, or if you have never completed these stitches before.  Purl Soho has some great tutorials for all kinds of stitches:  https://www.purlsoho.com/create/knit/tutorials/

Short Rows require wrap and turns.  This can be tricky to keep track and make sure you pick up the wrap on the way back.  Purl Soho has a great tutorial for knit and purl and how to pick up the stitches on the way back.  You do not want a hold everytime you wrap and turn.

Center Double Decrease (CDD):  This stitch is used for making mitered squares. Make sure you pass the 2 slipped stitches over at the same time and take them off the left knitwise or you will get that nice ridge down the middle.

Knit Front Back or Purl Front Back:  this is an easy way to increase stitches.

Sandy found this great way to create 2 rows of double crochet at the same time, cuts down on your crochet time.  I have to try this one.
